The purpose of this Information on the processing of personal data (hereinafter referred to as the "Information") is to provide information
on the processing of personal data, in particular to inform how, to what extent and for what purpose personal data is processed, and also to provide information on rights in connection with the processing of personal data under the relevant legal regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

"Controller" means the person who determines the purpose of processing personal data, which is the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Congo, Company ID: 56528035, with its registered office at Gajova 4, 811 09 Bratislava, legal form: representative body of another state, acting on behalf of JUDr. Ing. Michal Maz\u00e1k, PhD., Honorary Consul of the Republic of Congo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
"Processor" means a person who is different from the Controller and who processes personal data on behalf of the Controller. The list of processors is provided on the website or we will provide it to you at any time upon your request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
"Personal data" means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to

If you provide us with personal data, it is important that you consider providing it. However, without providing some personal data, it will not be possible to respond to your request or suggestion. It is important that you always provide us with complete, correct and truthful personal data, as we cannot be held responsible for the legal consequences that you or another person may incur in connection with the provision of incorrect, incomplete or false personal data. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The following data does not allow the data subject to be directly identified and we do not associate them with a specific natural person. However, it is not excluded, especially in the case of protecting one's own rights and legally protected interests,

For the purpose of handling requests and suggestions, we process personal data including name, surname, email address, telephone number, and any other data you decide to provide us with via the designated form or email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The legal basis for processing personal data for this purpose is the legitimate interest in providing support and information, which is governed by Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Your personal data will be processed for the period necessary to respond to the request or complaint, or until other measures are taken in connection with your request or complaint, no longer than 3 years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
For the purposes of fulfilling the obligations imposed on us by law, we process personal data to the extent necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The scope of this personal data may vary depending on the specific obligation under the relevant legal regulation. This primarily concerns contact and identification data (e.g. name, surname, telephone number, email address, permanent address).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The most common obligations imposed on us by law and in connection with which we process your personal data are obligations arising from accounting, fulfillment of obligations imposed on us by specific legal regulations (for example, under the Act on Protection against Legalization of Proceeds from Crime and on Protection against Financing of Terrorism), archiving obligations, obligations arising from decisions of competent authorities, or providing cooperation based on a legally imposed obligation. Such obligations also include handling a request or complaint regarding the processing of your personal data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The legal basis for processing personal data in this case is the fulfillment of a legal obligation as a controller pursuant to Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR. The period of processing personal data results from individual legal regulations that regulate how long we are obliged to record and archive documents containing your personal data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We ask for your consent to the processing of personal data if the processing of personal data is based on

You have the right to request information as to whether your personal data are being processed, and if they are being processed, you have the right to obtain access to these personal data and to the specified information, i.e. information on the purpose of the processing of personal data; the category of personal data processed; the identification of the recipient or the category of recipient to whom the personal data have been or are to be provided, in particular a recipient in a third country or an international organisation, if possible; the period for which the personal data will be stored; if this is not possible, information on the criteria for determining it; the existence of the right to request the rectification of personal data or their erasure or restriction of processing or the right to object to the processing of personal data, the right to file a motion to initiate a procedure on the protection of personal data; the source from which the personal data were obtained and the existence of automated individual decision-making, including profiling, in particular information on the procedure used, as well as the significance of the data.

Based on your objection, we will assess whether, having regard to your particular situation, the protection of your legitimate interest, your rights and freedoms overrides our legitimate interests pursued by the processing of your Personal Data or if the legitimate reason is the establishment, exercise or defence of our legal claims. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time. The withdrawal of your consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing of your personal data carried out on the basis of your consent before its withdrawal. The withdrawal of your consent does not apply to the processing of your personal data on a legal basis other than your consent. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
You have the right to notify us at any time of any reservation, objection or complaint regarding the processing of your personal data. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the EU legal order or in the legal order of a Member State, the scope of the obligations and rights of data subjects may be limited by legislative measure, provided that its provisions correspond to the rights
and obligations set out in the GDPR, if such a restriction respects the essence of fundamental rights
and freedoms and is a necessary and proportionate measure to ensure: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Each legislative measure must contain specific provisions which, where relevant, specify at least the purposes of the processing or categories of processing and the categories of personal data, the period for which the personal data will be stored and the applicable safeguards, taking into account the nature, scope and purposes of the processing or categories of processing, the extent of the restrictions and safeguards against misuse of the personal data or unlawful access, the designation of the controller or categories of controllers, the risks to the rights and freedoms of data subjects and the right of data subjects to be informed of the restriction, unless the purpose of the restriction is compromised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the relevant legal regulations, in particular the GDPR, you may file a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Office of the Slovak Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You can exercise your rights listed above (except for filing a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Office of the Slovak Republic) in writing by sending a letter to the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Congo, with its registered office at Gajova 4, 81109 Bratislava (where it is necessary to state your name, surname, permanent residence address for identification purposes), or by e-mail to the e-mail address office@consulate-congo.sk<\/a>A complaint to the Personal Data Protection Office of the Slovak Republic must be addressed directly to this office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Your request will be assessed and processed without undue delay, no later than one month from its receipt. However, in some cases this period may be extended, of which we will inform you. In case of doubt, we are entitled to request additional information from you, in particular for the purpose of verifying your identity, assessing your request, etc. You can exercise your rights free of charge.
